Did you know?

What's their role in the team?
England women’s captain
Right-handed batter and right arm off spin bowler.
Knight is a prolific top-order batter. As captain she brings a calm determination to the team.
Most memorable moment
2013 was the first year of the multi-format points system in the Women's Ashes. This meant not losing the sole Test match became extremely important, as it is worth the most points.
During this 2013 Test, Knight scored 157 in a near seven-hour stay with the bat. This secured England a draw, and ultimately regained them the Ashes.
Off the field
Plymouth born and bred, Knight is from a close-knit family of cricketers, joining her brother's cricket team as a child.
She was offered a place at Cambridge University but turned it down so she had time to play cricket, instead attending Cardiff and studying Biomedical Sciences.
Knight is clearly in possession of both athletic and academic prowess, recently representing Cardiff on University Challenge.
